Jewellery Made Just For You
Have a piece designed and hand-made around your own ideas by your local independent goldsmith.
How Your Piece Is Made
Every commission is different, so the process is discussed with you from the very first conversation.
Your first conversation
Tell David what you have in mind, an idea, a photograph, a sketch or an existing piece you would like reworked. He will talk through what is possible.
Design and drawings
Your ideas are translated into a design so you can see the shape, proportions and setting before anything is made.
Choosing metals and stones
Decide on the metal and any stones, including diamonds or gemstones from an existing piece of your own.
Your approval
Nothing is made until you are happy with the design and have agreed how the piece will be produced.
Hand-making the piece
The piece is made and the stones set, with the care you would expect from an independent goldsmith.
Finishing and hand-over
The finished piece is polished, checked and handed over to you in person.

A Piece With Personal Meaning
Bespoke jewellery can begin with a completely new idea or with something you already own. You might want to reset a family stone, reshape inherited gold or create a ring around a detail that matters to you. Bring photographs, sketches or examples of styles you like, and David can help turn those ideas into a design that feels personal.
